In early 2022, the state revived its plan to reconstruct Memorial Drive and its greenway paths. This work represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to restore and enhance the parkland along the Charles River and to make it less auto-dominated and safer for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy. For the past two years I have served as a trustee for The People for Riverbend Park Trust, the longtime non-profit steward for the area that is within the current project scope. Please read the two pieces I wrote about the project and the ongoing public comment process.
