- I sponsored an order to reignite work on a law to control outdoor light pollution and excessive glare. The "Outdoor Lighting Ordinance" has been stalled after years of discussion. Here's a recap of the discussion at the 9/18 City Council meeting.
Comment Here or Go to Link » - Cambridge Day reports on the work of the Outdoor Lighting Ordinance Task Force, whose recommendations will come before the Council later this spring. Light intrusion is a growing concern. The proposed ordinance does not tackle regulating spillover from INDOOR lighting, however.
